The evening is also an opportunity to celebrate and recognise the work of Volunteers over the year, and awards are presented to those Volunteers that have made a significant effort and contribution to helping Sport. It is also an excellent opportunity for you to meet with other Volunteers and organisations from the area and see where else you can offer your Volunteering services.
You are, of course, more than welcome to source your own projects and placements that better suit your timetable, and what you wish to achieve. If this is the case then do get in contact to let us know as we will be more than happy to support you in your search, and may be able to offer funding to support you and point you in the direction of some good points of contact.
