The Sport Centre offers many indoor facilities for sport including:

Sports Hall

UniSPORT help facilitate many of the Student Sports Clubs and the Sports Hall is available for:

Studio 1

An air conditioned dance studio used for a variety of aerobic, exercise and dance classes, as well as martial arts.

Studio 2

A smaller studio home to a variety of classes including Pilates and aerobic classes.

Squash Courts

In addition to the 5 courts at the Varsity Centre, the Sports Centre houses two squash courts. These can also be booked for table tennis with 40 minute time slots bookable throughout the day.
The Sport Centre has 2 squash courts for hire in addition to the five courts at the Varsity Centre as well as an Indoor Climbing Wall

Artificial Turf Pitch Make your way to the bar after your game. The Varsity Bar offers a wide range of real ales, continental beers, wines and soft drinks. Brennan Catering are currently open Mondays - Sundays 12 - 2.30 and for special bookings at other times.
The Bar has viewing facilities, overlooking the floodlit artificial pitch, where you can sit and relax, hold a meeting or watch the best in sporting action on SKY TV. Our expert staff will be pleased to assist you with your booking requirements.

Bookings
Bookings can be made by contacting the Sport Centre on 01483 689201 or extension 9201 or the Varsity Centre on 01483 505271 or ext. 9242.

Sport Centre

Advance Bookings
Gold Card and Staff Sports & Classes members can book up to 14 days in advance, by phone or in person.
Everyone else can book up to 7 days in advance but payment must be made at the time of booking. If bookings are made on the day of play, they can be paid for on arrival.

Cancellation of one-off Bookings
A full 24 hours notice must be given for all cancellations. Failure to do this will mean forfeiture of the fee. If more than 24 hours’ notice is provided, a full refund will be given or a transfer of booking will be allowed.
Gold Card members and Staff Sports & Classes members who fail to provide 24 hours notice of cancellation will be charged at the non-member rate.
Please note: A different booking condition and cancellation policy applies to Student/Staff club bookings and block bookings of outside clubs and organisations.
