Quiz Nights
No intelligence needed! The first Monday of each month the Varsity Bar welcome you to test your wits against the quiz masters. Starting at 7.30pm, rounds include general knowledge, dingbats and picture board. Food is available until 9pm so bring your team and enjoy the fun.  For further details please contact Lin:

Poker Nights

Come play TEXAS Hold 'Em Poker on the first  Sunday of the month at the Varsity, depending on turnout the buy-in will be £5 for a speed tournament with no rebuys. The tournamnet aims to start at 7pm and finish by 10pm.  There is scope for further weekly tournaments to be added if there is enough demand!!  If you wish to have any more details please contact Matt:

HOPS Nights

These specific HOPS (Hours of Pleasurable Sampling) nights are dedicated evenings to a specific brewery, where the brewery visits the Varsity Bar with some tasty samples.

Varsity Beer Exhibition

The annual Varsity Beer Exhibition will be on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st November 2009. There will be a vast range of ales from all over the UK and Europe. Entry is free and there will be food available.
