The Varsity Centre is the England Squash Regional Centre of Excellence, one of Surrey’s 3 GOLD Charter Clubs and Home to Premier Squash League side UniSPORT Guildford. 

Gold Charter Club
England Squash (the sports national governing body) has identified the Varsity as one of just a handful of squash clubs in the country that has extensive club development programmes, and that provide opportunities to develop players, coaches, officials and volunteers in all areas. Also all Gold Charter clubs have excelled in squash development on a local, regional and national level. 

Junior Squash
The Varsity has a thriving Junior Squash Section. It has 4 Junior teams in the Surrey Cup League, and several players in the County Junior Full Squad and Junior Feeder Squad. There are coaching sessions for all levels of junior, ranging from beginners (incorporating mini-squash) to advanced player coaching (for our elite juniors). We have regular ladder matches, leagues and tournaments for the all the future squash stars of tomorrow.

Schools Programme
UniSPORT has a huge community squash development programme. At the forefront of this is our Mini Squash Roadshows. UniSPORT's expert squash coaches go into the local schools and deliver a fun and enjoyable coaching session to the school children in most of the schools in the local area. After these session the children's interest in squash goes to a new level, and they are keen to join in our weekly Junior Coaching Sessions.Several schools also have regular coaching sessions at the Varsity with the expert UniSPORT coaches, and we run many Schools leagues and tournaments. We at UniSPORT believe that investing in the development of young players is one of the most important aspects of our Squash Development Programme.For further details contact:
